World Scout Conference, Egypt - 18 and 19 August
Description
The Centre participated in the World Scout Conference through the humanitarian action exhibition where the work with the jamboree national scouts were screened along with some of OHCHR publications. The Centre, in cooperation with METS, delivered three workshop sessions for youth scouts’ leaders to introduce them to human rights and equip Scouts’ educators with the knowledge and skills to organize and replicate a one-hour Scouts for Human Rights workshop in their National Scouts Organizations. 23 participants from Cyprus, Costa Rica, Denmark, Egypt, France, India, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore, USA, UK and Vietnam attended the workshops.
