The Centre in collaboration with ROMENA and the Ministry of Social Development and Family of Qatar, organized a four-day training course on " Rights of Persons with Disabilities." The training focused on reproductive health for persons with disabilities and the development of crisis management plans tailored to addressing the needs of persons with disabilities during conflicts.
The objective was to strengthen the capacities of participants from the Ministry to effectively integrate the reproductive health rights of persons with disabilities into their relevant strategies, policies, and programs, in addition to develop policies, plans, and programs for crisis management to address the needs of persons with disabilities. The training was facilitated by representatives from the Centre, ROMENA as well as  experts from the International Committee of the Red Cross in Doha, the International Disability Alliance, and the Arab Organization of Persons with Disabilities. 26 participants (24 women) including participated in the training.
