In partnership with the OHCHR office in Sudan, and the Sudanese Monitor for Human Rights, the Centre delivered a training to enhance the capacity of Sudanese lawyers and human rights defenders to effectively interact with the international human rights mechanisms. Key topics included international human rights law, treaty bodies and guidance for effective engagement with special procedures enabling the participants to report on human rights violations to the international human right mechanisms. The training was attended by17 participants (47% female) from Sudan.
