Participation in the Georgetown University in Qatar Career Fair
On 27 October 2026, the United Nations Human Rights Training and Documentation Centre for South-West Asia and the Arab Region (the Centre) participated in the Georgetown University in Qatar (GU-Q) Career Fair, held at the university’s Atrium in Doha.
At the OHCHR booth, Centre staff engaged with students and introduced the Centre’s work and its human rights, training, education and documentation activities. Publications and information materials were displayed and shared with visitors, providing an opportunity to learn more about OHCHR and its work and human rights job opportunities in the region.
The Centre’s participation also included a simulation interview component coordinated with the university’s Career Services. Five students registered for individual 20-minute sessions designed to provide interview practice as part of the fair’s career development activities.
The Centre’s booth welcomed approximately 85 participants, including around 55 women.
