Webinar on the “Practical Application of Human Rights in Non-Formal Human Rights Education Activities”
On 10 September 2026, the UN Human Rights Training and Documentation Centre for South-West Asia and the Arab Region, in partnership with the Regional Forum for Sustainable Development, delivered an interactive webinar on “Practical Application of Human Rights in Youth Work and Non-Formal Education”. The webinar brought together volunteers, youth workers and young professionals to explore how human rights education can be translated into practice in youth work and non-formal learning activities.
The discussions explored ways to integrate dignity, inclusion, non-discrimination and meaningful participation in to the design and delivery of youth activities, helping to create safer, more inclusive and rights respecting spaces for all young people.
The webinar brought together 53 young women and men from Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, and Qatar.
