Call for Applications | Regional Summer Course on Introduction to the International Human Rights System – 4th Edition
The United Nations Training and Documentation Centre for Human Rights for South-West Asia and the Arab Region, in partnership with Saint Joseph University of Beirut, the Global Campus of Human Rights in the Arab World, and the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights, is pleased to announce the opening of applications for participation in the Regional Summer Course on Introduction to the International Human Rights System, which will be held in Istanbul, Turkey, from 27 to 31 July 2026.
The course aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of young men and women in the field of human rights by addressing international concepts, principles, and standards; relevant United Nations human rights mechanisms; monitoring and advocacy tools; as well as practical sessions and discussions with experts and practitioners in the field.
Target group:
Young men and women, including students, young academics, lawyers, and professionals interested in working in the field of human rights, aged between 20 and 28.
Course language: Arabic
Application period: 4 to 18 May 2026
Participants who complete the required attendance and assignments will receive a certificate of attendance.
