Development of a Guide on Best Practices in Human Rights Education Activities at School Level- Lebanon, 28-29 July
Description
The Centre, in collaboration with the Arab Network of National Human Rights Institutions (ANNHRI), held a regional meeting to review the draft of Guide on HRE Activities at School Level drafted by the Centre and ANNHRI in close consultations with ministries of education in the region. Consultations with representatives from Ministries of Education and National Human Rights institutions from Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Palestine and Qatar as well as UNESCO and the Educational Center for Development and Research , resulted in valuable analyses which will be integrated in the second version of the draft, aligning it with OHCHR international human rights standards and the World Program for Human Rights Education.
