The Centre contributed to organizing a one day workshop on "Migration and Human Rights" in collaboration with International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the International Labour Organization (ILO) at the UN House in Qatar. The workshop aimed to familiarize participants with human rights-based approaches to migration, emphasizing the critical role of international human rights law in safeguarding migrants and international conventions and instruments pertaining to migrants' rights. The workshop was attended by 23 participants from Qatar, representing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Justice, the National Human Rights Commission, and the National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking.
