On 27 April, the UN Human Rights Training and Documentation Centre (UNTDC), in cooperation with the College of Graduate Studies in the Qatari Police Academy, held a lecture on “Human Rights in Criminal Justice: Addressing Discrimination and Inequality,” as part of strategic partnerships with the college on the fields of human rights and capacity building activities, which includes the implementation of a comprehensive training program on "Human Rights in the Context of Law Enforcement," which aims to support professional practices and instill human rights principles in security personnel.
The lecture was attended by 20 graduate (Master’s) students, aiming to strengthen their knowledge and analytical skills in the field of human rights and criminal justice, with particular emphasis on identifying and addressing discrimination and inequalities.
