Regional Training for GCC Judges: “Human Rights in the Administration of Justice” – Qatar, 22 – 24 September

Description

The Centre, in cooperation with the Supreme Council of the Judiciary of Qatar, delivered a regional course to 30 judges from Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia on “Human Rights in the Administration of Justice”. The training focused on strengthening judges’ capacity to apply international human rights standards in the administration of justice. Sessions addressed the international human rights system, fair trial principles, relevant UN mechanisms, judicial application of treaties, as well as UNESCO’s Global Toolkit on AI and the Rule of Law.
