The Centre delivered a regional online training programme on “The Role of Young Human Rights Defenders in the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights”.  The programme comprised three online training phases held between April and August 2025 and is designed to strengthen the capacities of young human rights defenders to engage with international human rights mechanisms, monitor and report on human rights violations and advocate for human rights. A total of 24 participants attended from Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Palestine, Syria and Tunisia.
