The Centre organized its first webinar for youth, titled "The Scope and Limits of Freedom of Opinion and Expression According to International Human Rights Standards." The webinar brought together experts from the Al Jazeera Centre for Public Liberties and Human Rights and independent civic space actors from the region to discuss key topics including the challenges of freedom of expression, impact of digital media on freedom of expression, combating hate speech and the challenges faced by journalists in the region. This was the first of a webinar series targeting youth to be held by the Centre and was attended by 72 participants (50% female) from Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Qatar, Syria, and Yemen.
