Body

The Centre focuses on giving the Youth as many opportunities to learn about Human Rights as possible. This includes participating in a variety of Career Fairs hosted by different universities. The aim is to give them an opportunity to learn more about the different types of jobs in the human rights field and internship opportunities offered at the Centre. Further, the career fair allows students to engage and connect with representatives from different organizations and institutions, allowing them to explore jobs that fit their overall interests and qualifications. As for interaction and networking, the Centre displays key publications at the booth, which focuses on educating students of the overall role and mandate within the region and sub-region.  Additionally, the Center also conducts a mock interview session for students interested in joining the internship program. The session mainly aims at offering a more in-depth perspective on how competency-based interviews are usually carried out within the UN framework. This enabled students to practice the skills needed for real interviews and gain insights on the overall job process.
