Workshop for Omani National Institutions and CSOs on -Human Rights Indicators– Oman, May 13th to 15th
Description
The Centre, in partnership with the Oman Human Right Commission, delivered a workshop to enhance the participants' capacities in developing quantitative and qualitative indicators to measure progress in the implementation of international human rights norms and principles. The workshop was attended by representatives of the Oman Human Right Commission and national government institutions including the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Social Development, the Shura Council, the Royal Oman Police as well the National Centre for Statistics and Information and representatives from civil society organizations. The workshop was attended by 40 participants (53% female) from Oman.
