Regional Training Course on “Human Rights in the Administration of Justice” – 3–6 November, Qatar

Description

The Centre, in cooperation with the Qatari Public Prosecution - Criminal Studies Institute, organized a regional training course for the benefit of general prosecution officers from Qatar and four other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries titled “Human Rights in the Administration of Justice”. The training was designed to equip them to effectively apply international human rights standards in administering justice, ensuring adherence to fair trial principles guided by the human rights treaties, and better handling of emerging challenges such as AI, digital evidence, and cybercrime. 21 participants from, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and United Arab Emirates attended the training.
