Training Course on “Designing, Managing, and Delivering Human Rights Training” for the Iraqi Ministry of Oil – 26–30 October, Qatar
The Centre, in partnership with the Human Rights Office at United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) , the Iraqi High Commission for Human Rights (IHCHR) and the Iraqi Ministry of Oil/Training & Development Directorate, organized a Training of Trainers Programme (ToT) on “Designing, Managing and Delivering Human Rights Training (DMD)”. The training aimed to strengthen the capacity of human rights trainers within the Ministry of Oil to develop, design, and deliver effective human rights training programmes using the OHCHR Human Rights Training Methodology across Iraq. This training comes as part of the Iraqi national action plan to implement recommendations received from United Nations Human Rights Mechanisms. A total of 17 participants attended the training.
